Buddha College of Teacher Education, (BCTE) is NAAC Accredited B+ Grade Institution located at Muthukulam North, Alappuzha Kerala. Buddha College of Teacher Education, Muthukulam was established as Teacher Education Institution in the year 2005 with an annual intake of 100 students for B.Ed under the University of kerala and theM.Ed course in the year 2008. As a higher education institution of professional course in the coastal belt of Kerala state, it successfully completed 16 batches of B.Ed and 14 batches of M.Ed by 2022.The two year course for B.Ed and M.Ed was started in the year 2015. It is with pleasure and pride that I state the successful story of BCTE with well placed Alumni and nearly 98 percentage of students got corresponding jobs of teaching in these years. With a well vision about the rural upgradation of educational and social status of the students ,progressing the society of Muthukulam and nearby villages with higher and professional education, and enlighted environmental sustainability of this Agricultural land, BCTE put forth all its strengths towards uplifting the downtrodden society around it.
